Ayurveda is the world longest standing health system in the world, rooting from Ancient India over 5,000 years ago. It is also referred to as the “sister science” of yoga, focusing on bringing balance to the mind and body, to then connect with the Soul. Ayurveda is a holistic, all encompassing approach to living that helps us understand the guiding forces of the 5 elements and the 3 doshas in every aspect of our lives.
